Ethics

It's all about imagery. Never the less I would like to specify the sole and only ethics guiding
me when making images. In my imagery this ethics wil allways overrule aesthetics:

"Never give up on your desire.” Jacques Lacan - french psychoanalyst

"Art is showing the unknown in the known, or the known in the unknown – never ever the opposite” – an unknown critic.

Limited by these principles only, every thinkable visualization is allowed in my imagery. To transform them into images though and finalize them as pictures is something totally different. That's exactly where my personal shortcomings become the crucial factor. Even the strongest guts or perseverance on my part won’t suffice here – I’ll have to grind it out, pixel by pixel, image by image. Always unsure if I've caught even a tiny little glimpse of the gaze, or just added yet another cliché to my stock.

Who ever said it'll be easy?
