Whenever I look, a picture is painted inside my eyes – but me, I’m not in the picture. Consequently, I’m only represented in it by a gaze, a gaze that keeps watching me from the root of my fantasy. It’s a lost part of me and it triggers a strange desire for reunion with sights I've never seen before - paradox and impossibility in one.

The gaze has become my fate-organ: It gives me pleasure and pain in a way that is outside the realm of my control.

In imagery you'll find glimpses of my searching. Hopefully the images conveys the focus of the process and thus exchange with you the desire of the gaze.

I invite you to take a look at The Gaze as Organ!
